Hello! My name is Monique and this is my blog. I'm not entirely sure what this blog is, because it's not really focused on one thing. It's a compilation of thoughts, ideas, and other random things that linger in my mind. Regardless, I hope you enjoy and are somehow inspired by my stories and experiences. I'm glad you're here, and I hope you are too!

So who is this crazy, scatter brained, spunky blonde?

Well, that's me! Monique :)

I am a college graduate from the University of Oregon (GO DUCKS!) with a degree in Electronic Media. I studied film and photography with hopes of one day becoming a news reporter/writer. With that being said, I'm an optometrist technician! Haha, funny how things work out (I am SO grateful for my job, though!). Regardless, I have a huge passion for all things entertainment. I'm signed with a modeling/talent agency and when I can, I still love to pursue film. I write about that fairly often, so if anything comes up, you'll all be sure to know!

I'm engaged to the most amazing man in the entire world, Alex. I write about him and our relationship often, so if you want to know more about who he is and our story, check out the "Future Mr. & Mrs." tab :)

I love the Lord with all my heart, and live to serve and worship Him. I've always been a Christian, but through many struggles in my life, I started to pull away from my faith. Never lost hope and trust in the Lord, but I struggled with understanding a lot of things. Today, I still struggle with certain things, sure, but I am so proud and confident in leaning on Him and trusting Him to lead me.

I was a competitive cheerleader for 5 years, I absolutely love all things country and can't wait to buy a house with my future Mr. with a big barn so we can raise horses, I am addicted to Starbucks, and ice cream, I have the most wonderful family who supports me 100%, I love pinterest, I could watch "A Walk To Remember" 100 times a week and not get sick of it, my favorite thing after a long stressful day is baking (and dancing around in my kitchen while blasting music), I played 1st string violin for 8 years, I love Vampire Diaries and Teen Mom (guilty pleasure), and I am weirdly in love and obsessed with my cat, Meeko.

Ok, that about sums it up :) I am who I am, and I won't pretend to be anyone else. I promise. I'm very open about my life and my past, and through reading my blog, you'll see that. My past does not define me, and my future is unknown! All I know is that I am one incredibly blessed girl, surrounded by the most amazing people, living my life for me and not worrying about what anyone else has to say.
